Memorial services for Saundra A Harper will be held by the family on Saturday January 21st, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Apostolic Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Hugo, OK. Saundra passed from this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in Paris, TX at the age of 79.

Mrs. Saundra Harper passed from this life on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, at the age of 79. Saundra, daughter of late Cecil Dewey and Sarah Agness Strickland was born November 8th, 1943, in Dalhart, Texas. Saundra attended public school in Smackover, Arkansas and was a graduate of the College of the Mainland with a degree in accounting. Post-graduation Saundra worked in the accounting lab as an instructor at the College of the Mainland. She professed her faith early in life and was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Saundra was united in holy matrimony to Jerry Thomas Harper on August 31st, 1962. Saundra and Jerry celebrated their 60th anniversary in August of this year.
Saundra enjoyed sewing and quilting as well as spending time with her family.

Saundra’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Steve Harper of Hugo, OK, Chris Harper of Houston, TX, daughter-in-law, Laura Harper of Hugo, OK, daughter-in-law, Christy Harper of Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; brother, Cecil Strickland of Monroe, LA; sister, Linda Hawthorne of Pensacola, FL; sister, Vickie Strickland of Monroe, LA; and a host of devoted family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Heritage United Methodist Church (201 E. Kirk Hugo, OK 74743) where Saundra was a member.
