Roger E Farmer

Celebration of life services for Roger Farmer will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Life Church – Boswell, OK with Pastor Micah Moore officiating. Roger went home to the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2023, in Plano, Texas at the age of 73.

Roger Eugene Farmer was born on August 5, 1949, in Boswell, Oklahoma, the son of Jessie and Fay (Higginbotham) Farmer. He was able to travel the US with his dad that left him with lifelong memories.

Roger met the love of his life Joanne Feuerborn in 1976 in Denver Colorado. They married in Arvada, Colorado on July 20, 1981.  They shared 42 years together.  He cherished his time spent with her and they loved being together.

Roger loved the Lord first and foremost and taught his children so much. He was an avid musician and loved to play his guitar.  He was a hard worker, had a good sense of humor, always gave good advice, and would always make time for you.  He enjoyed photography, hummingbirds, and sunsets.  He loved to joke and play pranks.  His most cherished times were with his family and grandchildren. He loved it when his house was filled with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his oldest son, Archie Farmer; sister LaRue Dillman.  

Roger is survived by his wife, Joanne of the home; children Jesse Farmer and wife Christy of Boswell, OK, Beth Sibbit and husband Clint, Mike Farmer and wife, Susan all of Trenton, MO, Megan Parker and husband Jonathan, Sarah Ferguson and husband Brayden all of Boswell, OK; Daughter in law, Stephanie Farmer of Durant, OK; 19 grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
