Funeral services for Ricky Don Wise will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 1:00 pm. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, Oklahoma with Brother Kenny Gaines officiating; burial will follow at the Sobol Cemetery. Ricky passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 39.
Ricky Don Wise was born August 3, 1983, the son of Charles Lusk and Doris (Wise) Hooks, in Modesto, California. Ricky married the love of his life, Marguerite on April 13th 2018; however they’ve been together for 10 years total. He was a long-haul truck driver and he enjoyed driving those big rigs. He also did electric work. He was an active grand mason with the Broken Bow Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a member of the Archangel motorcycle club. He cherished time with friends and family, being on the lake, bonfires, BBQ’s, hunting, and telling tall tales. Ricky also enjoyed doing mechanic work on cars and trucks.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lusk; great-grandfather, Eddie Allensworth; mother, Darress Allensworth.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Marguerite Wise of the home; daughters, Hannah Brant of Idabel, OK, Summer Wise of Valliant, OK; son, Clay wise; Sister, Talisha Wise of Ringold, OK; nephew, Terence Harris of Broken Arrow, OK; nieces, Tiffany Harris and Taylor Harris of Ringold, OK; granddaughters, Magnolia Brant and Violet Brant of Idabel, OK; brothers, David Lusk of Colorado and Justin Price of Modesto, CA; uncle, Cecil Wise of Georgia; aunt, Lin Claborn of West Monroe, LA; birth mother, Doris Hooks and stepfather, Bobby Hooks of Idabel, OK
The family will receive friends on January 12, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
Celebration of life dinner after the graveside service at the Sobol Community Center.
