Rickey Allen Nored
Memorial services for Rickey Allen Nored will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK with Bro Doug McClure officiating; Rickey went to be with the Lord away Friday, October 23, 2020, in Hugo, OK at the age of 64.
Rickey Allen Nored was born November 7, 1955, to R.W. and Elizabeth (Taylor) Nored in Antlers, Oklahoma. He had lived in this area most of his life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hugo, OK. Rickey was a long time employee of the Choctaw Nation Housing Inspection and shuttle driver. He was also a big fan of the Hugo Buffalo school system running the Chain gang for the many years. Rickey served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, watching sports and rodeos.
Rickey was preceded in death by his father R. W. Nored; father-in-law & mother in-law Billy Jack and Loretta Brown; brother-in-law Charles Brown; and sister-in-law Rose Rhodes.
Rickey is survived by his wife Ruby Nored of the home; daughter Misty Vorpagel and husband, Thomas of Hugo, OK; son Rickey Nored II of the home; his mother Liz Nored of Hugo, OK; brothers, R.W. Nored Jr. and wife Alice of Prince George, VA and Billy Franklin and wife Melinda; sisters-in-Laws Rita Nation and husband Jerry and Velva Brown. four grandchildren, Levi Billy Jack Nored of the home. Teresa Canada of Fletcher Ryan Canada of Ft. Towson and Desta Vorpagel of Cement; two great-grandchildren, J.W. Keenan and R.J. Keenan both of Cement.
