Funeral services for Jessie Erivan Priddy will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Prater-Lampton-Mill & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at the Ft Towson Cemetery. Jessie went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2021 at his home..
Jessie was born on April 2, 1961 to Ervin and Elsie (Ridenour) Priddy in Ft Towson, Oklahoma. He had lived in this area all of his life and was of the Pentecostal faith. Jessie married Melanie Hunter on April 10, 2001, in De Queen AR. Jessie worked as a road grader forman for Choctaw County District 3. He enjoyed doing mechanic work, hunting and fishing. Jessie loved his family very much and enjoyed being "PaPa Smurf". He is preceded in death by his parents, Ervin Priddy and Elsie Ridenour and two sisters, Ida May Jackson and Ivaline Morris.
Jessie is survived by his wife Melanie of the home; two children, Cary Vanderburg of Chicota, TX and Gina Vanderburg of AR; four grandchildren, Casyn, Callie, Hazel, and Haylee; seven siblings, John Priddy and wife Vickie of Ft Towson, OK, Jim Priddy and wife Kimberly of Valliant, OK, Josh Priddy and wife May of Hugo, OK, James Priddy and wife Billie Mae of Ft Towson, OK, Jean Priddy and wife Lena of Ft Towson, OK, Jeffery Priddy and wife Kristy of Ft Towson, and Inell Spencer and husband Ronnie of Ft Towson, OK.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.
